description: Dr. D.H. Wilson, Born In Huntleigh, On. He Graduated As Gold Medalist In Medicine From Trinity College, Toronto In 1878. Came To Manitoba To Practise Medicine With His Brother Robert In Nelsonville, Mb. Before The Coming Of The Railway Nelsonville Promised To Be The Metropolis Of Southern Manitoba. When The Railway Did Come Through And Fixed The Townsite At Morden About 5 Miles South, He Was One Of Those Who Had His House Hauled On Sleighs To The New Town. He Was Appointed Coroner For Marquette County. He Was Elected To Manitoba Legislature Under Premier John Norquay In 1881. He Introduced The Bill For The Act Incorporating Manitoba Medical College In 1883. He Was One Of The Founders Of Manitoba Medical College. He Became Provincial Secretary In The Norquay Government In 1884 And Professor Of Diseases Of Women And Children In Manitoba Medical College. He Moved To Vancouver In 1894. And Was Licensed In Bc In 1889. Died On December 10,1926 In Vancouver, Bc
