description: Dr. A. Mcdiarmid, Born 1854, Graduated From Trinity Medical School In Toronto In 1879. He Was A Founder Of Manitoba Medical College And Its First Demonstrator In Anatomy. In 1885 He Was Professor Of General Chemistry And By 1890 He Was Professor Of Obstetrics And Diseases Of Women And Children. By 1894 He Was Treasurer Of He Manitoba Medical College. He Was First Physician To Perform A Caesarean Section In Winnipeg General Hospital On September 13,1895. The Operation Is Listed In The Annual Report As "Caesarean Section Necessitated By Pelvic Deformity". He Left Winnipeg For Chicago And Lived There In 1907. In 1921 He Moved To Pocohontas, Ab. He Died In 1920s
