description: Interior Of The Billiards Room (Poolhall) Of The Woodbine Hotel At 466 Main Street. The Poolhall In The Woodbine Hotel Was One Of The Most Modern In Winnipeg At The Time With Its Tivoli Tables (Which Replaced The Earlier Brunswick Ones). The Woodbine Was One Of The Earliest Hotels In Winnipeg (C1883) Owned By W.J. O'Connor And H.A. Chadwick. Mr. Chadwich Left After One Year To Be The Owner Of Chad'S Place At Deer Lodge. Mr. O'Connor Later Owned The O'Connor Hotel Well-Known For Its 25 Cent Dinners. Later He Established The Corona Hotel. The Woodbine Has Had A Long Series Of Owners. Note The Objects Hanging Over The Pool Tables, And The Row Of Seating Under The Pool Cues On The Wall.
