The Hunt Was Traditionally Held In Spring And Fall To Take Advantage Of The Twice Yearly Migration Of The Buffalo Herds. Entire Families Moved With The Hunt From The Red River Area Going As Far South As The Missouri River And Western Montana. These Parties Were Comprised Of Three Groups From The Settlement Of Saint Francois Xavier, Red River, And Pembina
