description: Camp Morton Water Tower. The Inlaid Work Decorating The Water Tower And Engine Room Disguises The Original Purpose Of These Two Buildings. Machinery Pumped Water From Lake Winnipeg To The Large Tower Tank, Which Supplied Water For Drinking And For The Gardens Of Camp Morton. The Frame Of The Water Tower Was Probably Built In The Late 1920s. A Stone Facade Was Added In 1937 And Was Trimmed With Nickel Disks Depicting The Heads Of King George Vi And Queen Elizabeth
