The Don Carlos Nightclub Was In Competition With 2 Other Pembina Highway Nightclubs, The Highwayman And Jack'S Place. The Bandstand At The Rancho Was Made Considerably Larger To Accommodate Dorsey'S 16 Piece Band. Don Carlos Owned By Charlie Mazzone (Who Was A Native Of Messia, Sicily, Came To Canada Prior To Ww I And Served In The Rcaf.
