G CAFU Fokker Universal (City of Winnipeg) with first nose hanger at Hudson, Ontario, in the winter of 1926-1927. Standing in front of the nose hangar are (L- R): S.A. Cheesman and R.J.A. MacDougall. The nose hangar was a handy means of servicing engines in zero weather. The first regular flying in Canada was done in this area and the methods developed then, still are used today with some streamling and improvements. |
