The Three Locks Were 40 Feet By 21/2 Feet Deep And Would Pass Canoes Or Batteaux. From A Painting, Captain William Twiss Is Shown On An Inspection Trip Of The Locks As A Batteau (Boat) Is Being Pulled Through.
