Sixteen Delegates From Canada East, Canada West, Nova Scotia, And New Brunswick, Gathered In The Westminster Palace Hotel. There They Deliberated The 72 Resolutions Forming The Bases Of The British North America Act Between December 4th And Christmas Eve. Present Was: Lord Monck, Governor-General Of British North America 1861 -1867 And Of Canada 1867 -1868. Lord Carnarvon, Colonial Secretary, Piloted The Bill Through The House Of Lords.
