description: Ox-Drawn Red River Cart With 2 Metis Women In Cart And A Metis Man In Front Holding The Harness Of The Ox. The Cart Was First Develped By A Metis In About 1800. The Cart Was Of All Wood Constructio; No Nail Or Any Other Metal Part Was Used In The Making Of It. The Wheels Were About 5 Feet High; The Body Of The Cart Was 3 Feet Wide And 5 To 6 Feet Long.
