He Was Chairman Of The Committee On Mathematical Education Of The Canadian Mathematical Congress, And The Chairman Of The Committee Of The National Research Council. He Assisted In Formulating Proposals For The Education Of Metis And Aboriginal People. He Has Published Many Papers On Mathematics. He Married Bernice Prendergast (Daughter Of John F. Prendergast Of Wpg) And They Had 2 Children. He Was President Of Brandon University. He Retired In 1977 And Went To Teach In Africa. (Colour Slide) |

There He Received The Queen Elizabeth Coronation Medal For His Outstanding Contribution To Education In The British Commonwealth. He Received The Honourary Degree Of Doctor Of Laws By Mcmaster University. He Remained As President Of Brandon University For 31 Years Until His Death On July 29, 1959 At Age Of 68 |
