Received Ba In 1932 And Ma In 1934 From Mcmaster University; Ph. D In 1938 From U Of Toronto. He Was Professor Of Physics At Mcmaster University In 1953. He Worked On Nuclear Spectroscopy There. He Was A Visiting Professor At Oxford University In 1959-1960. He Was Sent To Pakistan As Columbia Plan ".Expert" In 1960. He Was A Visiting Scientist At Chalk River Nuclear Labs On Neutron Physics From 1967 -1968. He Married And Had Twins A Boy And A Girl. He Lived In Hamilton, On |

In 1942 He Became Asistant Superintendent At Lac Du Bonnet. The Province Of Manitoba Named A Lake At Latitude 59 36 Longitude 94 51 In His Name And His Ashes Have Been Placed There. His Son Is Gordon F. Catton |
