She Was Awarded The Carl Pederson Memorial Trophy As Manitoba'S Outstanding Junior Athlete. In 1966 She Won 2 National Age Group Sprinting Records, One National Open Mark And Four Gold Medals At The Canadian Championships In Richmond, Bc. She Also Won The Outstanding Athlete Award At Daniel Mcintyre Collegiate And Earned The Governor-General Medal For All Round Proficiency. She Won A Silver Medal In 1967 At The Pan American Games In Winnipeg. She Represented Canada At A Junior Triangular Meet In Toronto. She Represented Canada At Commonwealth Games In Edinburgh, Scotland In 1970, And She Won The World Indoor Record In 300 Meters In Regina. She Declined An Offer To Represent Canada In The University Games In Favour Of A Job Offer In 1970. Twelve Years Later She Was Picked As An Alternate For Canada'S Olympic Team. Inducted Into Manitoba Sports Hall Of Fame In 1987
