description: St. Boniface City Hall With Welcome Sign On It In English And In French, Provencher Avenue In St. Boniface, Winnipeg, Mb. St. Boniface Was Incorporated As A City On February 1908. But The Town Hall Had Been Completed In 1906, Designed By D.W. Harwood And Built By William Grace Company. The City Police Court Was In The Basement With Two Prison Cells For Women And Nine Prison Cells For Men. On Completion Of The New City Hall The Former Town Hall Was Moved To The Rear And Used As A Firehall With The Horses In The Council Chamber. It Served Until 1907
