He Turned Professional With Regina Caps Again With Irvin And During His Four Years There Scored 87 Goals And 58 Assists. Then He Was With The Portland Rosebuds With Irvin And He Scored 18 Goals. When The Team Was Sold To Chicago They Both Moved Into The Nhl. George Had A 14 And 8 Year With Chicago And Then Was Traded To Detroit Gougars (Later The Detroit Red Wings) And Was Top Scorer On The Club With 22 Goals And 13 Asists. In His 5 Years In The Nhl He Produced 73 Goals And 54 Assists.George Hay Made The 1927 All-Star Team Selected By The Managers, With Howie Morenz And Bill Cook As Line Mates.
